Salon Moxie is a new concept from expert hair stylists Jack and Joelle Ray who also own the award-winning Samuel Cole Salon in Raleigh .

Raleigh artist and interior designer Clark Hipolito of The Art Company created Salon Moxie’s “rock’n’roll” environment.

Clark began his career as an artist for MTV. He has transformed many raw, drab spaces into vibrant environments. His work has been featured on HBO’s Sex and the City and in Waterfront Home & Design magazine, among others.

At Salon Moxie, Clark used his trademark specialty-painting effects to create cherry-red walls where dramatic slashes of color evoke images of giant scissors and locks of tumbling hair. Combine that with gleaming steel, sparkling mirrors, and upbeat music and you’ve got a salon with moxie!

Salon Moxie’s professional stylists are specifically recruited, highly trained, continuously educated, and always ready to enhance your hair’s natural beauty and solve those aggravating problems. They also receive advice and mentoring from owners Jack and Joelle Ray. Our top-notch stylists have the know-how. And you will, too, because they’re going to make sure you know how to recreate the fabulous look you get in the salon before you walk out the door.
